Yes, you can rent the facility for parties and other group gatherings. Available time is generally harder to come by during the busy seasons (Sep-Mar) and easier during the slower seasons (Apr-Aug). The cost to rent the facility is $160 per hour.
Yes. Most parties are birthday or family parties and they are done during public skating sessions. There are discounted groups rates for groups of 10 or more people.
There is also a party room that is available for rent for $15 per hour. We have a limited selection of food items we can offer for a party, but most people bring their own food.
Renting the entire facility may also be an option for large group parties.
We have a large variety of skating and hockey programs that utilize the County Ice Center including Learn-to-Skate lessons, figure skating, instructional hockey, youth hockey, adult hockey, high school hockey, women's hockey, and sled hockey to name a few.
Yes. The Salt Lake County Adult Hockey League Program runs from October to April. There is also an Adult-Learn-to-Play Hockey Program that runs during the spring and summer.
In addition, there is a private individual who operates an adult league program at the County Ice Center and at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex during the summer. Go to ushl.org to receive more information about that program.
